I was wandering through the the pleasure gardens of Hellbrunn Palace near Salzburg when I came across these pensive fountain statues standing, forever lonely, in the pools of this 17th century villa. Their silent reflection captured for me the stolen moments of peace that so often elude us in a busy world.
